Up for auction is this lovely 5 pc. lot of antique Victorian era formal high neck dress collars!!! These are difficult to find so this is really a great collection! This lot includes the following (from front to back in the firt photo provided): A wonderfully delicate handmade ivory lace ladies collar that sets upon the back of the neck, which has a netted layer underneath, pretty rosettes and a scalloped edge. It measures 13 1/4" inside and much of the design in the top layer has separated in certain places and needs repair and cleaning, but it has beautiful handiwork. The second collar is a dramatic dark green silk velvet over sheer collar accented with black shell-like sequins and tiny silver metal beads. There are a few sequins and beads missing and the sheer fabric underneath is in poor condition with many holes. The third item is a sweet antique white silk and netted collar with adorable ribbon and bow designs accented with the same type of sequins and silver beads as the second collar. It has some small holes stains, and a couple of beads missing and some slightly worn edges. The fourth item is a pale pink silk velvet ribbon design over white netting and is accented with brass beads, shell-like sequins, and tiny hand crochet rosettes. It is also reinforced with an additional white silk backing which is dingy and has holes.
