NORTHWOOD'S COBALT BLUE PEACOCK AT THE FOUNTAIN COMPOTE The Peacock at the Fountain stemmed compote is seldom seen in any color. The cobalt blue compote is considered scarce and you do not see them come up for auction very often. I have had this particular one in my collection for many years. This compote has the Hearts and Flowers pattern on its stem and the peacocks face to the right. It is in fantastic condition and has no chips, cracks or flea bites. It is very hard to capture the iridescence of this piece on camera. My reserve is in keeping with the scarcity of this particular piece and its excellent condition.
