Peavey original 1984 model "Milestone 6" guitar. Made in USA. Serial number:- 01961467 An opportunity to acquire a genuine vintage American-made electric guitar at a low price The original series Peavey Milestone 6 guitar was only made in the mid-1980s and is a relatively rare model, especially on this side of the Atlantic Ocean. The Milestone 6 guitar has powerful, twin humbucking pickups, (which cleverly turn into clear, bright single-coils when the tone control is fully rotated to maximum treble), a factory-stock out-of-phase switch, a vibrato bridge, a slim, 25.5" scale maple neck and a distinctive, colour-matched headstock. This 30-year-old guitar, finished in a pearlescent, light purple metallic colour, is in well-used condition, (see photos), with numerous scratches, knocks and dings and is missing its tremolo arm, its strap buttons, its plastic back-plate and also the little plastic truss-rod cover. The controls, switches and jack socket all sound crackly and it would certainly benefit from an electrical service and set-up; cosmetically it would also profit from a thorough clean and overhaul, but it is still an interesting, eye-catching guitar and once serviced, an extremely versatile instrument.
