This beautiful matching unsigned Peggy Karr Chili Peppers Bowl and tray set will come just in time for Cinco de Mayo!!! The tray measures 9 ½"L x 5 ½"W. The bowl measures 10 ¾" across and 1 ¾"high. The design features scattered red hot chili peppers against a yellow and black background. Surrounding the yellow background is a ¼" light green border. From this border turquoise triangles extend at intervals to give the appearance of a star. These pieces do not come in a Peggy Karr box. Each piece of Peggy Karr glass is handcrafted and fired with enamels to produce a richly colored, smooth textured, thick piece of art glass. This technique dates back to Ancient Mesopotamia . Due to the firing process each piece has some variations to its color, texture and formation of bubbles. This is normal. All Peggy Karr pieces are non-toxic and dishwasher-safe. They can be used in the microwave but not the oven.
