PELIKAN M700 TOLEDO I have quite a collection of fine fountain pens, and now that I have retired (and moved to smaller quarters) I would like to sell them. You may have seen some sold on Ebay. Of all of the unique writing instruments, Pelikan represents the finest in design - both in technical advancement, as well as aethetic presentation. My collection of Pelikan pens includes the M700, M900 and M910 Toledo pens, M800 Souveran - including one very special M800 green "Demostrator" limited edition, and also the Wall Street pen. These truly beautiful fountain pens have enhanced my collection, and hopefully yours. Listed is a M700 Toledo which personifies Pelikan's attention to traditional craftsmanship. As are all Pelikan pens, this one individually numbered and hand signed by its maker . Classic plunger fill - used in the mid 1930's Sleeve is solid 925 sterling silver barrel "vermeil" , 24K gold plated 18K gold pen nib with rhodium decoaration- M Numbered 8/A99 The value of this pen is not what you will pay for it today. It is in the loving attention that has gone into this treasure of timeless beauty. It may well double in value in years to come.
