Up for auction is this really great vintage Pepsi Advertising Tin Thermometer, which I was told came from an old Store that had closed down in the late 60's. The item had been stored in its original box that it came in from the Pepsi Manufacturing Plant. This probably would have hung on the wall for display to promote the Pepsi product. I say that the item is in Near Mint condition, because I don't think the Thermometer itself works anymore. T is red inside which I assume is Mercury, and it is dispersed in different areas inside the thermometer glass piece. It is the original glass, but I don't think it works. However, for a piece of Vintage Advertising, this item is in Mint condition for Graphics, Paint, and General all around appearance. No Rust on front or back, no scratches, the back still retains the original manilla envelope that holds the original screws to hang it on the wall. The bottom is marked with M-233-Made In U.S.A.-RA-57 which is the year it came out. The thermometer measures: 27" long by 7" wide, the Box is 27 3/8" long by 7 2/8" wide. I will ship both items together and shipping Insurance will be required on this item. Insurance Amount will be determined by Actual Final Auction Value of Sale.
