Up for sale is an absolutely perfect vintage sapphire blue creamer and sugar bowl in the “Bubble” pattern by Fire King! Fire King (a division of Hocking Glass) started making the Bubble pattern in 1940, and it’s an incredibly popular pattern that’s getting harder and harder to find without damage or utensil marks. This creamer and sugar bowl set is in great condition - there are no chips, cracks, flakes, fleabites, nicks or roughness anywhere, and the glass is nice and shiny with no stains, oxidation or utensil scratches! The creamer stands 3½ inches high at the spout, and it’s 4¾ inches wide from spout to handle. The sugar bowl stands 3 1/8 inches high and measures 5¼ wide from handle to handle. They’re absolutely guaranteed to be genuine – not reproduction or new glass. I have several other pieces for sale in other auctions, so be sure to take a look by ! The Bubble pattern can be seen in Gene Florence’s “Collectible Glassware of the 1940s, 50s & 60s”, where this hard-to-find set is shown for $60.00. The winner will pay shipping and insurance (because of eBay rules, insurance is included as a “handling fee”). Shipping will be combined for the buyer of more than one item whenever practical.
