This auction is for a perfect condition rare example of Japanese Majolica Ware by MaruhonWare. The scenes depict Western City Scenes from the Victorian Era. Back and Front scenes are different and the lid is decorated with tree branches and leaf design. The whole teapot is hand painted. The teapot measures approximately 4.5 inches with the lid on and approximatelyt 8 inches from spout to edge of handle. There are no chips, cracks or crazing.
