This is a vintage souvenir Altenburg China German made mug with a hand painted picture of "Perry Transferring Flag, Put-in-Bay, Ohio". The picture has vivid colors and strikingly displays the flag and ships in the background. The bottom is marked with the Altenburg mark (picture shown). This has a great deal of character and unusual chocolate brown town with flowers on the reverse side and edge. The size is about 3 inches in diameter and 3 3/4 inches tall. Just a great piece for the Put-in-Bay or souvenir china collector. Please ask any questions before bidding and view my other items listed this week. Good luck bidding! I realized after listing this is shown as a "mug" but it should have been listed as a "tumbler". My pictures display it as a tumbler, but didn't want anyone to be disappointed since it is a tumbler and not a stein type mug.
