LARGE COLLECTION OF VARIOUS PERSONAL ITEMSPERTAINING TO W.NAYLOR (1047937)Lovely collection of various items that I really hope will go to an appreciative new home :) Everything here belonged to W.Naylor who served in the RAF during WW2 and was stationed in the Middle East. Included in this auction: MOVEMENT ORDERS LETTER Dated 15th July 1945, signed Flight Lieutenant F S James. TEMPORARY DUTY PASS 12AF Pass No.383 dated 28th Feb 1945, expires 31st March 1945. TRAVEL ORDERS LETTER Dated 13th July 1945, signed by G R Shillitoe, Wing Commander. DRIVERS PERMIT - RAF MIDDLE EAST Date of issue is 12-12-42 and enabled W Naylor to drive all types of vehicles. Signed by the Commanding Officer. 2 GREETINGS CARDS These appear to be paper copies of original cards (see photo 3 below)...but they don't look as though they were copied recently. I'm not sure if this would have been how some-one would have received these cards, but I just wanted to point out that in my opinion I don't think they are originals! But they do have a nice amount of information about W.Naylor's family and where they were based. NEWSPAPER CUTTING An article about Newton Heath Tower RAF CAP BADGE Brass cap badge measuring approx. 40mm in diameter, the clip on the back is missing. No.40 SQUADRON ROYAL AIR FORCE MIDDLE EAST FORCES CHRISTMAS DINNER read more
