Chulucanas Vase 4.5"D x 5.8"H Chulucanas Pottery Chulucanas pottery is a special earthenware made from a clay found only in the surroundings of Chulucanas, a small village near Piura in northern Peru. The technique for making this unique pottery, involving only the use of the artisan’s hands and feet, stone and wooden tools, dates back to pre-Columbian times. The skills have been passed on from family member to family member for generations.
