*PESTANA – SOLDIERS OF THE QUEEN!* Here is a wonderful Soldiers of the Queen set of the 10th (Duke of Cambridge’s Own) Bengal Lancers (Hodson’s Horse), dismounted , handmade by well-known toy soldier maker, Professor Harold Pestana of Maine. This 1/32nd scale set consists of 8 figures (6 with lances, 1 with bugle, 1 with sword) - all hand-cast and hand-painted in the traditional toy soldier manner. This is set #3 in a limited edition of 30 and comes with the original box. Be sure to scroll all the way down to make sure you see all of the photos. Please note: These are NOT intended for children. They are for the adult toy soldier collector. Imperfections (if any) make items unique and are part of the handmade process! All items are from a smoke free home. Professor Harold Pestana’s handmade toy soldiers are in the Forbes Museum in Manhattan, the Hillestad Museum in Cresco, Pennsylvania and in private collections worldwide. He was recently profiled in the August 2009 issue of Toy Soldier & Model Figure Magazine .
