This is an almost new Peterson 'Sherlock Holmes' Meerschaum. Named 'The Professor'. It was purchased from Bonds of Oxford Street, London on 18th November 2013. The cost was £206.95. Invoice is available. The only sign of smoking is very slight discolouration to the top of the bowl rim. The Sterling Silver band is stamped with the Sherlock Holmes head silhouette - Petersons Sterling Silver - 925 Hallmark - Petersons. The unmarked 'P' Lip mouthpiece has the Peterson logo 'P' inlaid. I am selling this on behalf of a colleague who has suggested a very reasonable £120 starting price. Measurements are: Length is 13 Cms., Bowl Height is 5.4 Cms., Tobacco Chamber is 2.1 Cms. across. The original box and pouch come with this superb pipe. Please note that when considering postage charges it would be advisable to have increased compensation for this item, which is an additional £7.90. This is optional for the buyer.
