Hello, and welcome! I ask that you please read this entire listing before bidding. Please view my other listings, as I have other pipes listed at the moment, and will have many more as this month (May, 2007) goes by, and well into June. You are bidding on one "Peterson's" brand pipe, which is of vintage nature. As this pipe has been used, it will need to be cleaned. I have a list of the person who owned this pipe before, and it says that it was purchased in 1970. The pouch that I found this pipe in is being included in this auction, as you can see in the pic, and it is clean, and dark tan in color. It has printed on it in cursive, "Peterson." The mouthpiece has crud and discoloration on both sides of it, as well as as toothmarks. These toothmarks are not holes, though. T is a sterling silver band, which has engraved on it, "Sterling Silver," and it has engraved "K&P" as well. The left side of the mouthpiece has the engravement of a "P," which is in white color, though, the color is slightly worn. On the silver band as well, t are three (3) designs on it, one of which is like a Greek-like statue sitting from the side, a reversed Pi-like symbol, and something else, which I cannot determine what it is, though, it looks like some sort of pottery object from antiquities. On the bottom part of the wooden portion of this pipe t is the engravement in cursive, "Peterson's." Then, under this in normal print, it is engraved, "Donegal "Rocky". To the right of this, "01 Made In The Republic Of Ireland." Nomenclatures is fair to good, though, t is some wear in "Peterson's Donegal Rocky." However, it is better than the pic represents. This pipe measures 5.5 inches in length from end of stem to end of bowl from the upper portion, while I measure in a straight line. The bowl width of this pipe is 1 3/8 inches from outer portions of bowl, and 7/8 of an inch from inner portions of bowl. This pipe measures 1.75 inches in height. It has now been decided that I will not ship anything to certain nations of Oceana, based on numerous sellers stating that orders frequently do not reach their intended recipients in certain nations of this region.
