Hello, and welcome! HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL! I ask that you please read this entire listing before bidding. I have sold around 80 of my father's pipes on ebay througout 2005, and early 2006. Just the other day, we found about 50 more of them, as well as accesories, such as jars, tobacciana books, and other items. Everybody has always been happy with his items, and if you're interested, continue to periodically look at such items I will have listed, as I will be listing them as fast as I can. All pipes were stored in a box, and were not used or touched since at least 1990, as that was when my father quit smoking. You are bidding on one "Peterson's" brand pipe, which is possibly of vintage nature, and is constructed of clay. This pipe is in not the best condition, w t are some areas chipped off at the upper portion of the bowl, and a small area on the bottom. As it has been used, it will surely need a cleaning. I will not mess with such a thing, w I don't know about pipes, and wouldn't want to mess anything up. The mouthpiece has a few very minor toothmarks on both sides of it. However, these are not holes, or anything like that. On this pipe at the left side, t is the engravement, Peterson's System," w t is something engraved as well that appears as if it's an "A" to the left of "System." On the ring, w the mouthpiece attaches, t is the engravement, "Peterson" on the left side, too. On the right side of this pipe, t is the engravement, "Made In England," and what appears to be "12" next to that. Nomenclature is fair to good. This pipe measures 5.25 inches in length from end of stem to end of bowl. The bowl width of this pipe is 1 inch from outer portions of bowl, and this pipe measures 1.75 inches in height. I, as the seller, also reserve the right to decline to ship to certain nations, based on previous problems I have heard of with other ebay members regarding shipments not reaching their buyers. I have not had any problems of such a nature thus far, personally, though, I would like to keep every sale a positive experience for me as well as for you as the customer. Thus far, all has gone well for me and my customers, as you can see in my feedback ratings, and I would like to keep it this way. It has now been decided that I will not ship anything to certain nations of Oceana, based on numerous sellers stating that orders frequently do not reach their intended recipients in certain nations of this region. Again, before you bid, just e-mail me, as to inquire. Likewise, I will not ship anything to Eastern Europe or to any of the former Soviet bloc states.
