Swingin Round The Cirkle by Petroleum V. Nasby, pub. by Lee and Shepard, Boston 1867. David Ross Locke used the pseudonym of Petroleum V. Nasby for his letters and writings as a polititical commentator and satirist. Illustrations by Thomas Nast. Hardbound book measures appx. 5 1/4" x 7 3/4" in size and contains 299 pages. Bookplate on inside front cover and has some soiling. A nick on foredge of rear cover and has some corner wear. Gilt lettering and decorative design on spine cover are nice and bright. Overall very good + condition. Nice book! Buyer pays for media rate shipping and handling in continental United States. M oney back if returned in seven days from receipt, only if item is not as described. Insurance is available at buyers expense if requested.
