This butter dish was made between 1836 and 1899. It is 6.5" at the longest point and 4.5" at the widest point. There are some stains but mostly on the bottom rim and the rim of the cover (pictured). No chips or crazing that I can see but there is a hair line crack on the inside of the cover(pictured). It is hard to see but it is in the upper right part of pic #8. Some of the spots you see on the inside of the cover are where the blue paint has bled through over the years. It also has some light scratches, but as you can see in the pics, it is in great shape considering it's age. The pictures are part of the description so please take a good look. I ship ASAP after payment is received and I'm very careful with my packaging.
