Hello and welcome to my auction! This week I am offering a gorgeous limited-edition rooster statue in the Village pattern by Pfaltzgraff. This piece is in perfect condition; it is brand new and has never been used or displayed. It was produced in 2002 and was made in the USA; t was a limit of only 500 of these statues made, and this is number 451. To me, this is one of Pfaltzgraff's crowning achievements in stoneware. The scupture is just gorgeous; it has beautiful detailing both in the painting and the embossing, which is crisp and clear. It comes with a stained hardwood stand and certificate of authenticity. As you can see from the bottom, it is hand numbered. This is one of those "must have" pieces for every Village collector, but I even consider it so for any Pfaltzgraff collector - it's such a gorgeous piece! What a wonderful Christmas gift this would make! Along with this beautiful rooster, I am offering a set of two hand-painted, glass pieces which I painted to match the pattern. You will be getting a tall (12") soap dispenser (or oil dispenser) bottle, and a 9" tall straw dispenser made by Gemco. The straw dispenser even comes with a set of 50 new straws! These are both hand-painted without the aid of stencils; no rub-ons or decals were used. They are painted with glass paints, and tfore are dishwasher safe. Please see read more
