This is a magnificent A Merry Christmas which is embossed, has shiny gold metallic highlights, bears the PFB trademark and is numbered No. 7312. The illustration features an extraordinary Santa Claus wearing a blue hooded jacket embellished with gold metallic hearts. His cuffs are trimmed in brown fur; he is wearing white gloves. A large sack with a small Christmas tree is tied to the back of his sack. The left side of the card is enhanced by a Christmas tree with meticulously detailed pine branches, gold metallic ornaments and lit candles. A white border frames the card; the card was postmarked in Ohio on December 18, 1908, and bears a one-cent stamp. The card is clean, crisp and shows very little edge or corner wear.
