Up for Sale is this Vintage Pharmacy Brass Mortar & Pestle. The mortar is decorated with a picture of what appears to either be a wild boar or hedgehog inside a design on both sides of the mortar. On one side t are the Roman numerals 1650 below the animal and on the other side is the word RVFOLAND. We couldn't find out what RVFOLAND or even Rufoland meant, so we'd only be guessing if you were to ask. The pestle shows some signs of wear, but is still in very good shape. I would imagine this would be more of a decorative piece than actually used.Approximate Measurement 8 inches beak to beak x 4 1/2 inches tall x top 4 3/8 inches in diameter.
