From a local estate, this is a pewter sculpture of a Phaser Type-2 as seen on Star Trek: The Next Generation, by Franklin Mint, with stand and certificate of authentification. This is the 30th anniversary commemorative model, and was a limited edition of only 95 casting days. This great Star Trek collectible measures approximately 8 3/4" long, stands 4" tall on its base. In display, this phaser appears to be in very good condition, but it has been played with, the three buttons for firing and settings are no longer functional (see pics), they may be repairable, but I'll leave that to you, t is some light scuffing in the on the underside w it rests in the base, unnoticeable in display, and the sterling silver accent on two of the buttons needs polishing.The Phaser Type-2 was introduced in Star Trek: The Next Generation, and was much more powerful than the original. It was equipped with a total of eight power levels from stun to disruption.Highly detailed, and with 24 karat gold and sterling silver accents, and a lead crystal targeting sensor, this would make a perfect addition to any Star Trek collection. I have a total of 15 Franklin mint Star Trek collectibles I will be listing over the next couple of days, and I will gladly combine shipping to the best of my ability. Because of the flaws, I am starting this piece at a lower price.
