Philadelphia Mom and Son - ¼ plate daguerreotype portrait of a young mom wearing a light-colored dress with small buttons down the bodice and a brooch at her lace collar. Her infant son's dress has a slight pink tint and he is holding onto her index finger. Mat is stamped “159 Chest St.” “Housekeeper”. A beautiful plate in a full case with silk pad and nicely repaired spine.
