You are bidding on a Philco 40-180 tube radio chassis. This chassis worked on AM but should be considered for parts only. The transformers are good. The tuning cans, variable capacitor and knobs seem to be OK. The dial glass and indicator paper are missing. I used this chassis everyday for a year before taking it out of service. It was a daily player at my old apartment and logged many hour of service. The item is offered in AS IS condition because of the age. I will assume no liability for misuse of this item by the buyer. The item should be bought by an experienced hobbiest only. Vacuum tube sets operate at dangerous high DC voltages that can cause injury or death if proper safety procedures are not followed. By purchasing this item you agree that you understand the risks and assume full liability to any injury to yourself. Shipping weight is 11lbs.
