You are bidding on a Philco cathedral radio type 84, made in the early 1930's! The case looks to be made of mahogany veneer. T are some ridges on one side from loose veneer. It could be reglued. T is no missing veneer and the finish is very presentable! When it is plugged in, the dial lights up and the tubes light up. However, all you get is static. When I first got this radio it did work, but it has been sitting for some time and now it just has static! I don't know anything about radios, but would think someone out t could fix it easily. It does have a new power cord. (was on the radio when I found it)It is 14 inches high by 12 inches wide and 7 3/4 inches deep. Both knobs appear to be the originals. The speaker cloth is t, but it is starting to decay. It appears everything is t internally, but I am no expert. The interior is not rusted, just dusty! Being sold as is with no warranty. I will charge actual postage on this plus 3.00 for packing material. This must be insured with delivery confirmation! The $35.00 postage figure above was put in because Ebay requires a postage amount on their listing form, however the postage amount will be determined according to your location! Ask all questions before bidding!
