Every set is completely detailed from the interior cabinet to the exterior finish,knobs,dial,back cover chassis ect. In most cases unless otherwise stated the cabinets are unmolested original condition,Bakelite,Plascon,Plastic,Catalin,or Wood. By unmolested we mean NOT refinished wood,NOT coated Bakelite,NOT repainted unless otherwise noted in our description.The same attention will be given to the chassis,ALL components checked and replaced where needed,including all adjustments done with the proper test equipment and refined tuning for flawless optimum performance! Again, unless otherwise stated in the description! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Offered in this auction today is another gorgeous Original Philco"Postwar"model 46-200 Transitone Deco restored dark chocolate marbled color bakelite c-1946. This set has no flaws noted in or on the cabinet. Restored to a glass like finish.Still retains the original factory back,these are almost always missing on this model,and the original factory label has some fade and tears but mostly intact. These items are almost always in rough condition on this model. .The dial face has two small light scratch marks on the lower part that are very minor in nature. This set is in remarkable condition for a near 70 year old vintage and exhibiting gorgeous jaw dropping condition in and out. Nearly out of box condition and will display and play with pride. Real cool Illuminated dial in the dark with a clean original dial cover and 5 tube ac/dc chassis, AM band only. Original deco plastic knobs. Stunning high polished Bakelite mirror finish.Check the closeup photos taken under natural lighting of the tiger pattern marbling throughout the finish! The power cord was replaced and safe for use,with a clean restored chassis. Original working condition with strong mellow static free clean TUBE audio. Fully bench tested and awaiting a new home or office!
