It measures about 11 by 14 inches (about 28 by 36 cm.), and is in Very Good condition. This map is very detailed, showing topographical features, provinces, cities and villages, routes of old railroads and more. A large inset shows detail of Manila Bay and area as far north as the town of Tarlac. Terrain elevations and drainage are indicated using hachures, as was customary in 19th Century cartography. This is a guaranteed antique map! It ships complete with Certificate of Authenticity documenting source, maker, and date of printing. Besides being highly decorative, this map is useful for genealogy and historical research. Great, too for educational settings such as classroom or home-school. It is similar to many of the maps shown in expensive mail-order and on-line catalogues like Pottery Barn, with one important exception: this is an actual antique, not a modern copy or reproduction made to look like an antique.
