Hi there,You are bidding on U.S. Philippines Coin - 1912-S Silver One Peso .After the American conquest of the Philippines in 1898, the currency was reorganized and a new peso was issued 1903-06. This coin was reduced from 26.95 grams to 20 grams in 1907 and issued in that form until 1912. Many dates are very common but the 1911-S and 1912-S are scarce. Proofs exist for 1907 and 1908 but are rare. No additional pesos were issued until the commemorative issues of 1936 celebrating the new commonwealth.Item is in Almost Uncirculated condition.
