Up for auction is a small photo album with 84 tintypes of people of the period. Pictures are of men, women, and children. At least one picture is of a young man in a uniform, and one picture is of a young man in a naval uniform with hat. It's amazing how young the two soldiers look. The album itself has reached the end of it's useful life, as the spine covering is broken, and most of the pages have broken away from the binding. The album does completely enclose the pictures when the clasp is closed, as the webbing of the spine is still entact. Regarding the size of the album, it measures approximately 4" x 4" x 1". Located on the first page is written in pencil " Album From the Morse Family Connections". Just a neat piece of mid-1800's history. US sale only. No Buy-It-Now Price. Regarding payment, I accept paypal, personal checks, and US postal money orders, with the album being shipped when funds clear. Shipping will be a flat $10.00, with said amount being for US Postal priority mail, with insurance and delivery confirmation being included. Item will be safely packaged in a box, not envelope. If you should have any questions, I will be glad to answer them to the best of my ability. Thanks for viewing my auction, and let the bidding begin! |
