It is a classic profile that is thickest on the outsde and scoops downward toward the opening with of ornamentation along the exterior and interior edges. This frame is gilded with gold metal leaf and finished with a dark mottled antique which yields a distressed golden / bronze appearance. This frame is perfect for an oil painting or portrait and can also hold a print with glass. It would also be beautiful with a mirror which can be provided for an very reasonable additional charge.
