I'm selling this uncommon vintage 12" Piel's Brothers, Inc., Elf, How Good It Feels! A Glass of Piel's beer tray from the 1930s/1940s. Piel's Brothers, Inc., operated in Brooklyn, NY from 1883 until 1963 when the brewery was sold to Associated Brewing Company of Detroit, MI. Associated closed the brewery in 1973, though Piel's beer was produced by various breweries such as F&M Schaefer, Stroh's and Pabst until 2015. Piel's was famous for there quirky advertising statements such as the one on this tray and the fictitious pitchmen for the company, Bert and Harry who are featured on a lot of Piel's advertising products. These elf trays are not common and can be very hard to find. This is nice looking tray with all letters clear and legible ad colors still vibrant. There are scrapes and scratches and a cracking throughout the finish. It still displays very well. Please see the pictures for condition of the tray. Thank you for looking at my item.
