PRETTY PIERCED OX-BONE FAN C1900 This is a very pretty pierced European Ox-Bone Fan dating to circa 1900. The double sidedpaper is beautifully decorated, on one side with three applied cartouches each depicting adifferent scene. The reverse is decorated in striking navy blue and gold.This pretty fan is showing signs of use over the passage of time. There are tears to thepaper and one of the centre sticks has come free at the top where it meets the paper. Thereare no breaks or splits to the ox-bone itself. The fan is sold as seen and needing restoration.This is one of a small collection of fans I am selling, please see my other listings.
