Over the years, and especially during his tenure as a glass blower at Disneyland , the artist received many special requests for a "pigasus" or pig with wings. Upon hearing the request, many times guests would choose to stay and watch the creation of this piece and postpone the rest of their theme park experience until afterwards. This delightful Pig with Wings makes a wonderful addition to any curio collection and a very special gift for any serious pig collector. Rich in delicate details, from its pig-snout nose and bent ears to its curly tail, it measures approximately 3" long and is 3" tall as well. Made entirely of hand blown glass. The brilliant rainbow of colors is created when pure gold is applied to the glass while it is still molten. Includes an attractive information card trimmed with gold foil.
