A vintage small teapot, sugar with lid and creameer from Pigeon Forge Pottery in Tennessee. have a blue interior. Teapot is 3.5", sugar bowl 2.5" with lid and creamer 4". According to the Old and Antique Pottery Web Site " Pigeon Forge Pottery was founded in 1946 by Douglas James Ferguson and his family. As the company grew, it employed local craftsmen in various capacities. Every piece of pottery produced was a hand made work and fired individually. They produced many utilitarian pieces in addition to beautiful art pottery. In 1957, the plant which was actually a makeshift from an old tobacco barn, burnt down. With help from community members and friends it was rebuilt. Their customer base was primarily tourists and locals in Pigeon Forge, which is located at the base of the Smoky Mountains near Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Over time, the pottery became more successful and eventually was internationally known. Most of their pottery was marked and often times contained an artists signature as well. The pottery was closed around 2000 due to Anne's retirement and Douglas Furgusons death. Today Pigeon Forge wares are collectible and many are quite valuable."
