The Owl and the Pussycat - famous poem by Edward Lear.... ........ there in the wood a Piggy-wig stood with a ring at the end of his nose. Dear Pig are you willing to sell for one shilling, your ring? ....said the Piggy I will..... This 'Piggywig' with a 'ring' in it's nose, was an addition to the Owl and Pussycat' set designed by artist Frances Wilson for Hantel miniatures. Made of pewter it's legs are jointed and it measures 1 1/2" x 3/4". It is hand painted in Scotland and is new, in perfect condition comes in it's Hantel box with tag. The last photo shows the Turkey and the Piggywig with the Owl & Pussycat Set but they are listed separately and not included. This auction is only for 'Piggywig'.
