This is a RARE Pillsbury Doughboy 37th Anniversary Gumball Machine In 1996 Pillsbury issued a collectible gumball machine which was given to their sales people to take to various grocery stores to help promote the 37th Pillsbury Bakeoff. The number was limited to the participating grocery stores, and these were not available for sale to the general public. These were typically displayed on the customer service shelf, or in the bakery. Since these were glass tops with a metal base, they were very fragile and broke very easily. This rare gumball machine consists of a blue metal base and a clear glass top. The gumball machine measures about 20" tall. The doughboy is wearing a red neckerchief with "Pillsbury" printed on it. It has a white cotton baker's hat This one issued in 1996 was the 37th Bakeoff Gumball Machine. They are hard to find as they were only distributed to grocery stores. In Great shape Has just been sitting in my grandmas cabinet. She thought someone else would enjoy it for their collection. Works great if you want to use for gumballs to.
