The Pilot Super-Wasp K-110 Battery Type, Double-Duty Receiver for Both Long and Short Waves. The title of Pilot Radio and Tube Corporation Data Sheet No. 7, written by Robert S. Kruse.The example of The Pilot Super-Wasp Radio Receiver up for auction has been refurbished to working condition. It features all original Pilot parts (except tubes which are various replacement brands) and the complete set of five plug-in coil pairs.The condition of the radio is excellent considering its age. The condition of tubes is unknown other than that the radio functions with them. All items are offered as is. Please refer to the photographs in this offer. All questions will be responded to and included in the auction.This specimen should make a nice collection addition for anyone who displays antique radios, or who would like to experience the operation of these early radios.Features include: The complete set of five plug-in coil pairs, a pair of NOS RCA UX201A vacuum tubes and an original Pilot Co. Data Sheet No. 7 which contains the technical description, parts list, and assembly instructions. It can be seen in the bottom view that the taped resistor is bridged on its open side.
