Manufactured in 1984 and never issued. This sheath is made with a belt loop to be worn on a belt. More often than not, the sheath was either sewn hard onto the vest, survival, or laced into it via the handy dandy string enclosed in the package. A sharpening stone is also housed on the sheaths exterior. There is a small area of surface rust on the guard, due to long term storage, that can be easily removed with no problem. The length of the blade is a staggering 4 3/4 inches.
