Offered for sale is a Pilot's Helmet with the flight bag.. I'm not really sure of what era it is from but, believe it to be late 80's early 90's. I acquired this several years ago at a show.Helmet appears to be in pretty good condition. T are two brackets on the front. One apparently is meant to hold a microphone. The mike is missing. The other is right above the visor. Perhaps it's meant to hold some sort of night vision device. The device is also missing. Not sure if either of these are important for collectors but, I thought I'd mention it. T are a couple of wires at the rear of the helmet but, I'm not sure what they are for. T was only one ear piece cover in the bag and I pictured it. Helmet is decorated in really cool fashion. Is completely covered in white tape that is cut to form symmetrical design. Front used red tape to create rising sun design. White tape displays the wording SUNDOWN SAMURAI. Rear of helmet displays American flag sticker and I.D.'s the helmet. Reads: FALCON F1-74 the F1-74 is very blurred BEATTY CORY.This is repeated under that print and the F1-74 is much clearer. The F1-74 is also printed on the helmet bag in magic marker.
