Used for converting 21-pin DCC loco sockets to accept an 8 pin decoder, giving you a wider choice of decoders to use. To use, take the blanking plug out of the 21-pin loco and insert the 36-559, then insert your 8 pin decoder (purchased separately) into the 36-559 adapter. Item is brand new in its factory sealed packet.
