The perimeter-weighted head, slightly smaller than the PING G20 fairways woods, has a neutral bias (the i15 fairways had a fade bias) that promotes square setup and impact. This command over the club face offers maximum workability for more experienced players. The low, deep center of gravity produces a medium trajectory (compared to the G20’s high trajectory), penetrating launch angle and low spin rate from tough lies. Made from 17-4 stainless steel, the i20 club head has high forgiveness and improved distance, keeping the ball straight and long even on off-center hits. The new black-matte finish on the Ping i20 fairways absolutely sucks up surrounding light and reflections, and also looks great in the bag. The i20 fairway wood comes in three lofts: a 14° strong 3 wood, 15° 3 wood and 18° 5 wood. Customers have the option of two graphite shafts, the TFC 707F and Project X Black, in a variety of stiffness ratings.
