Pinocchio" in Liberty Magazine (MacFadden, 1940). Magazine (Multiple Pages, 8.5" X 11.5"). Animated. The cover of this interesting magazine from March 2, 1940, features fantastic artwork from Walt Disney's Pinocchio (RKO, 1940). Also of interest are great articles on Edgar Bergen and his sidekicks, Mortimer Snerd and Charlie McCarthy, and Joe DiMaggio and his brothers, Vincent and Dominic. The magazine is a fascinating time capsule of a country on the brink of war, with some wonderful accounts from the European front, and lots of great ads of the day, including a full page for Northwest Passage (MGM, 1940). An unrestored magazine with bright color and a clean overall appearance. It may have general signs of use, such as light edge wear, or very minor tears. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details. Very Fine. Grade: 80, Service No.: 1382012
