Check out my other items ! 2.2 pinto engine built by a engine builder around the Brands Hatch area in 1998, quite who its not known. Brief spec V6 pistons +60, injection rods, fully lightened and balanced, 6kg flywheel, rs alloy sump, stage 3 bvh head, masses of porting and polishing, luminition dizzy and module, BF40/41 cam, kent cams vernier. This engine was in my old car and was removed around three weeks ago due to the new owner wanting to restore it back to a standard engine.The engine was rolling roaded at HT Racing in August of last year making 140.3 bhp 135lb of torque at the rear wheels so around the 175-185 mark at the flywheel. Aaron reckoned theres loads of power in there which could be easily be unlocked with bigger carbs than the 45s it was running and a better breathing exhaust system than the twin box Ashley effort. This lump pushed you into your seat with the torque, it was very very punchy. Once the engine was out the sump and head where removed to find out the spec, we cleaned the film of carbon from the pistons , head,ports and valves with a scotchbrite pad( there was next to nothing) and gave it a lick of paint. It needs a headgasket,sump and cam cover gasket then bolting together ( new head bolts supplied along with cam and fan belt) It hasn't been bolted up so any inspection is welcomed.
