This is a used Pioneer RT-707 tape deck being sold as-is. It works well over all but IT IS NOT IN PERFECT CONDITION. The flaws I'm aware of are: light rust on the cover (top and side). See photos. the counter doesn't work (the counter belt is in place but is very slack). Because of this, I suspect the Repeat function will not work. t's no left channel playback when playing from right-to-left (reverse direction). Both channels work when playing from left-to-right (foward direction). Aside from the counter, all controls work. The auto-reverse feature worked the last time I used it. (It's of limited value, though, because of the missing left channel in the reverse direction.)Those warnings given, this is still a nice deck. The front panel is flawless and it still sounds great. If I were more of an audiophile, I'd repair it and keep it.The deck is being offered with two take-up reels and four TDK Audua 1800-foot tapes. The tapes have been recorded only once. 1800 feet is good for 90 minutes at the higher recording speed (19 CPS / 7.5 IPS).The Operation Manual for this tape deck is available : /Pioneer-RT-707-Manual.PDF .The technical specs on this machine. Note the weight is 44 pounds (20 kg); this beauty's a relic of the Monster Power Supply era.Controls:Independent left & right microphone levelIndependent left & right Line In level read more
