My weathered cars are customized over a three day process with varying combinations of pastel chalks, washes, hand painting, dry brushing and airbrush. The finished product is sealed with dullcoat. Be assured that no two cars are exactly alike.You're bidding on an Athearn boxcar. This is an undecorated kit, painted decalled and weathered by me. It is fitted with Intermountain metal wheelsets, and with Kadee knuckle couplers, adjusted to NMRA height. The car has been weighted to NMRA Standards. Comes in its original box. This car is a Pittsburgh & Lake Erie (P&LE) 40' steel boxcar. The car wears the oval New York Central System herald and road number 36395, with a built date of 9-29 and a shop date (McKeesport Yard) of 10-39. Please take a look at my other auctions.
