My weathered cars are customized over a three day process with varying combinations of pastel chalks, washes, hand painting, dry brushing and airbrush. The finished product is sealed with dullcoat. Be assured that no two cars are exactly alike.You're bidding on an Athearn boxcar. It is fitted with Intermountain metal wheelsets, and with Kadee knuckle couplers, adjusted to NMRA height. The car has been weighted to NMRA Standards. Comes in a "plain vanilla" box. This car is a Akron Canton & Youngstown (ACY) 40' AAR steel boxcar. The car wears the ACY Road of Service herald, the "Serving Ohio and the Nation" slogan and road number 3247, with a built date of 5-47 and a shop date of 5-68.
