This is a special 100th anniversary edition of Daniel Burnham's Plan of Chicago printed in 2009 . From the dust jacket cover: "Like many of the world's greatest books, the Plan of Chicago is more than an expression of the concerns of the time and place to which it was written. It is also an investigation of the perennial issues that challenge those who live in, work in, and design urban environments conducive to a good life for their inhabitants."The book is in like new condition, with no writing, rips, tears or bumping. The dust jacket is in excellent condition and is in a protective cover. The edges of the pages are also gilt in gold coloring.
