To me, the original Planet of the Apes series of movies are really the only legitimate Ape movies. I can't help compare the new ones to the originals. Let's not even talk about the Wahlberg version! A big fan, I saw all of them in the theater, on T.V. repeatedly, bought those Super 8 short versions, VHS, DVD etc. I am fortunate enough to live very near the area where they filmed and have visited the former location of the corn field, swimming pond and Ape City. I've included photos of the Archaeological site and the Statue of Liberty site for fun.This Special Collector Edition action figure by Hasbro is part of their Signature Series. Commander George Tayor comes with a gun and is dressed in his NASA uniform which includes a backpack. A rotating display stand is included.
