PLATES DINNER & SALAD 16 PIECES METAL ENAMELWARE TUSCAN Item : PLATES DINNER & SALAD 16 PIECES METAL ENAMELWARE TUSCAN MOTIF BY FORMATION Description : Up for your consideration is a really wonderful set of metal enamelware dining plates that are sure to be a big hit at your next event. It is time to start getting ready for spring…think SPRING! This set will be sure to generate compliments and conversation by friends and family. This is a 16 piece set consisting of 8 dinner plates and 8 salad plates. They were created by the Formation Company and they are really pieces of functional art. We believe the design is called Tuscan Landscape (if not, it should be). They have rich colors and are fired enamel on steel. Each of the plates has a nice stainless steel rim that really sparkles. These pieces will make a remarkable statement on your patio table or at a dinner party. The color pallet consists of olive green with marbled splashes of gray hues, sunny yellow, coral reds, sky and azure blue hues. T are some black accent lines and t and these colors make a nice contrast against the bright white. They are really extraordinary in design, texture, style and visual appearance. The dinner plates have a diameter of 11” and the salad plates have a diameter of 9”. You will be very satisfied with the condition. They do not look like they have ever been used and the only real marks are from shelf wear and storage and even these marks are very minimal. T are no significant marks to report, they look like they would after a couple uses. They look nice; clean and bright; they sparkle. We were thinking these plates would be perfect as a paper plate support so they would stay in this condition for a long time. The backs of most of the plates have an original paper label still on the back; it is a yellow triangle. Each plate has the following information printed in black lettering: “FORMATION MADE IN CHINA DO NOT USE IN MICROWAVE OR DISHWASHER”. We acquired these pieces at an estate auction so we don’t know their actual age and we have not been able to find any like these currently available. These pieces are very heavy; just the stack of 16 plates by themselves weighs over 13 pounds! A properly packed shipment will weigh about 16 pounds.
