1965 U.S. ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS MACV-SOG Special Forces Camps Plei MeA-255, 5th SFGA A-313, 1st SFGA A-313 , commanded by Capt R. Mendoza, was located at Plei Me, Pleiku Province, II CTZ, during the period 6 November 1964 thru 30 April 1965. The Primary mission of A-313 was to conduct border surveillance operations al the Vietnam-Laotian border. One unusual aspect of this operation was organization of a Montagnard Scout, platoon which proved invaluable in gathering of intelligence. 1965 Army Corps of Engineers map reference number 6551, series L701, sheets I, II, III. Legend info in English, French, and Vietnamese. Scale 1 : 50,000. Each sheet measures 22" x 29". Each map sheet covers over 96 square miles. Very good condition, aside from some darkening at folds. Each map has a pre-1975 Vietnamese government rubber stamp. (Will have additional fold to fit in mailing envelope). Maps currently awaiting repatriation in Vietnam... they have been in-country 40 years. Air Mail 10-14 days, $7.00. Paypal, money order, check, sent to U.S. address.
