This is a rare and very hard to find PLOMB 1426 auto body hammer. Length of head is 7 3/4". Top to bottom is 13" Face is 1 1/2" diameter. "Rolling head" is 1" long and 1/2" diameter. Logo and embossing are excellent as the pictures show. The handle is original with some of the green paint still remaining. Handle is tight to the head with no slop at all--could be used without any further setting of the head. The handle has NO CRACKS or large gouges. There are typical "dings" as would be expected. Faces of both working ends are nice and smooth with no pitting. Hammer is virtually free of pitting but there was some light surface rust in a couple small areas. Overall, an excellent example of a hard to find PLOMB auto body hammer. Collectible or as a user, you won't be disappointed with it. No reserve auction.
